Halloween is my favorite time of year. So I decided to Halloween competition to see who is the most witchin’ DIYer around. w
I have gotten a lot of feedback over the last few months that a lot of people don’t have the tools to start the DIY projects that they want to do. So when thinking of a giveaway that I could do on my Instagram page I thought, ‘what could be better than a whole toolbox full of the essential tools that you need for basic DIY and home repair?’
I chose to give away a toolbox from Character home tools. Not only will you be getting the toolbox, and tools, but ALSO a year free of DIY support from their team of experts. You can call, text, or message them to ask questions about whatever DIY project you are working on. I think that is pretty cool.
It will start on October 1st and run through Friday, October 13th.
I have chosen 13 themes to go with each day. The themes are general and you can create any project within that theme category that you would like. I have created a downloadable calendar with ideas and a checklist to help you organize your thoughts and ideas for the challenge. You can download it here:
Each day I will be posting an Instagram reel with a DIY craft or project that I have completed.
Each day participants will have the chance to create a craft surrounded around the theme for that day. You can create your own idea from the daily theme or copy what I had done. Either way is great.
When you are done with each project, post it to your social media. It can be posted in Instagram stories, reels, or posts. To make sure you enter, tag @Determined_DIY and use the #13toDIYfor.
The more projects you complete and enter, the more entries you have.
